Education Goal

  • Creativity :
    Cultivation of capability to solve engineering problems through creative development using knowledge of math, basic science, basic engineering, and information technology
  • Practical ability :
    Nurture of capability to design system and process satisfying requirements using essential means of practical engineering
  • Communication ability :
    Cultivation of an engineer who has a moral sense as a professional and can communicate current events to others effectively

    Nurture of field adaptability based on knowledge and humanity in a global partnership

Educational Objectives

  • Nurture of engineering expert manpower :
    The Dept. of Electronic Engineering focuses on cultivation of professional engineers who has powerful ability in research and development and hence they are essential in industry. To achieve this goal, our students study New IT, system, robot, and other related technologies, and all theoretical learning are proved by experiment and practice.
  • Training of Creative manpower :
    We strengthen the competitiveness of our students on the age of high information by training professional technologies and ability to adjust to great variety of environment. As a result, we would like to contribute to the growth of Korea as the core men specialized in New IT, system, and robot technologies.
  • Cultivation of manpower of intelligence and humanity :
    We do our best to train students who are endowed with wisdom and humanity rather than of knowledge, how to thinking rather than memorizing, and students of action and practice.

Career Paths after Graduation

Our students grow into professional engineers carrying out their duties related to electronics, IT, electricity, automation, control and instrumentation in large or leading enterprises. After graduation, a large number of students proceed to the next stage of education for M.S and Ph.D degrees at domestic or international graduate courses to expand themselves senior engineers. In addition, our students grow into research engineers at various national policy concern research institutes such as KETI(Korea Electronics Technology Institute), ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute), KRISS(Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science), KEPRI(Korea Electric Power Research Institute), KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials), and KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute).
