- AI·융합교육과 산학연구 혁신, 캠퍼스 인프라 확충과 미래형 특성화 국립대학 연계를 통해 지역과 국가발전에 기여

□ 우리 대학은 2일 오전 9시 50분 오용준 총장과 보직교수, 교수회장, 행정실·과장, 총학생회장, 교직원 대표 등 30여 명이 국립대전현충원을 찾아 참배하며 2026년 업무를 시작했다.

□ At 9:50 a.m. on the 2nd, President Oh Yong-jun of Hanbat National University, accompanied by around 30 representatives—including senior officials, the Faculty Council Chair, administrative heads, the Student Body President, and staff delegates—visited the Daejeon National Cemetery to pay their respects and officially kick off the 2026 academic and administrative year.

 ○ 이어 오전 10시 30분 시무식을 개최하고, 정부포상 및 모범직원, 산학협력 우수교수 표창 등 시상과 함께 오용준 총장이 대학 구성원들에게 신년사를 전했다.

 ○ Following that, the university held its kick-off ceremony at 10:30 AM. During the event, President Oh Yong-jun delivered his New Year’s address to the university community, accompanied by an awards ceremony recognizing government honors, exemplary employees, and professors distinguished for their excellence in industry-academic collaboration.

□ 오용준 총장은 신년사를 통해, 먼저 “국립한밭대학교는 변화에 대응하는 존재를 넘어, 미래를 능동적으로 설계하는 주체가 되어 준비된 길을 걸어왔으며, 이를 토대로 2025년 이룬 산학연협력 강점의 고도화, 경험과 실천 중심의 교육 혁신, 융합자율대학과 첨단학과, 국제학부 신설, 전문융합연구원 신설, AI 기반 교육과 연구 강화는 단편적 시도가 아닌 분명한 방향을 가진 선택이었다”고 지난해를 돌아봤다.

□ In his New Year’s address, President Oh Yong-jun reflected on the past year, stating, “Hanbat National University has evolved beyond merely responding to change; we have become proactive architects of our future, walking a path we meticulously prepared. Building on this foundation, our achievements in 2025—including the advancement of industry-university-research cooperation, experience-based educational innovation, and the establishment of the Convergence Autonomous College, high-tech departments, the International Faculty, and the Institute for Specialized Convergence Research, along with the strengthening of AI-based education and research—were not isolated attempts, but deliberate choices with a clear strategic direction.”

 ○ 또, “2026년은 지난 3년간 추진해 온 정책들을 하나의 체계로 완결하는 해로, 기획–수행–성과 확산을 아우르는 다면적 연구지원 체계를 확고히 구축하고, 신축 디지털 도서관 개관과 중장기 연구 거점 구축을 위한 R&D 전용관 실시설계 등 혁신을 뒷받침하는 캠퍼스 인프라 고도화, AI융합대학 신설을 통한 전문 인재 양성 기반 확립 및 전교적 AI 기초 및 AI+X 교육 체계를 완성하겠다”고 전했다.

 ○ President Oh stated, "2026 will be the year to finalize the policies pursued over the past three years into a single, cohesive system. We will establish a comprehensive research support framework that encompasses the entire cycle of planning, execution, and performance dissemination. Furthermore, we plan to modernize campus infrastructure to support innovation, including the opening of the new Digital Library and the detailed design of an R&D center for mid-to long-term research. Ultimately, we aim to solidify the foundation for nurturing specialized talent by launching the College of AI Convergence and completing a university-wide educational framework for AI fundamentals and AI+X integration."

 ○ 마지막으로 “더 나아가 수도권과 비수도권의 단순한 경쟁 구도를 넘어, 수도권 대학과 연대하는 과학기술 중심 특성화 국립대학 연계를 통해 지역에 국한되지 않는 전국적 특성화 대학이자, 국가 과학기술 생태계의 핵심 축으로 국립한밭대학교가 한 단계 더 도약하기를 기대한다”고 했다.

 ○ Finally, President Oh stated, “Furthermore, moving beyond a simple competition between the Seoul metropolitan area and other regions, I expect Hanbat National University to take a significant leap forward. By linking with science and technology-oriented specialized national universities in solidarity with metropolitan institutions, we will establish ourselves as a nationally specialized university that transcends regional boundaries and serves as a core pillar of the nation’s science and technology ecosystem.”
