S0 the Office of International Affairs Building

HBNU provides lots of places for students to study and experience various activities. Let me introduce you to the hidden spots that students can use in S0, the building run by the Office of International Affairs.
The Office of International Affairs Building, which opened on March 1, 2017, is located on the right side of the main gate. The Office of International Affairs hosts Academic Exchanges and Overseas Dispatch programs. For foreign students, it provides Korean language education, mentoring, and various living support. In addition, the Office of International Affairs offers lots of places all students can use.
-The Places to Study
Global Study Rooms (S0, 213-216, 311-315, 401-408)
The Global Study Rooms open at 9:00 and close at 22:00 on weekdays. Rooms on the second floor can accommodate up to 6 people and rooms on the third and fourth floors can hold up to 10 people. Each room has desks, chairs, and whiteboards. You can also rent a laptop and beam projector for use in these rooms.
-The Places for Experience Activities
Cooking Experience Room (S0 first floor)
The Cooking Experience Room is available between 9:00 and 21:00 on weekdays after making a reservation. This place is used for various activities, like a kimchi making volunteer activity, lifelong education classes, and practical activities of a cooking club.
Media Library (S0, 205 room)
The Media Library is available from 09:30 to 18:00 on weekdays, with a 12 to 1pm break time for lunch. This place has six PCs, a beam projector, 24 chairs, an RFID anti-theft system, and a reader for self-check out of books and media. Here you can access 2,799 books and 140 DVDs.
Unfortunately, there are many students who aren’t able to use our university’s facilities because of COVID-19. As we look forward to returning to campus, know that you will be able to further develop your academic abilities and hobbies by using this information after the end of the COVID-19 situation.
