□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) held the 99th Anniversary of Foundation Ceremony at the Art Hall on campus on the 19th.

 ○ The event was attended by around 450 people, including major internal guests such as President Oh Yong-jun, 100th Anniversary Celebration Project Committee Chair Yum Hong-chul, Honorary Presidents Yi Won-mook and Choi Byung-wook, Alumni Association President Song Myung-gi, and Executive MBA Alumni Association President Kim Deok-gun, as well as external guests including Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials President Ryu Seok-hyun, Vision Semicon Co Ltd Chairman Yoon Tong-seop, and major donors, along with faculty, students, alumni, and industry-academic cooperation company officials.

 ○ The ceremony proceeded in the order of the President's commemorative speech, congratulatory addresses from major internal and external guests, the declaration ceremony for the 100th anniversary emblem and slogan, and awards for long-serving faculty and university development contributors.

 ○ Especially at a point one year ahead of the 100th anniversary of foundation, Choi Jong-in, Director of the 100th Anniversary Celebration Project Team, directly explained the 100th anniversary emblem design and the slogan "100 Years Together Future Together" and attendees shouted the slogan together to wish for the success of the 100th anniversary celebration project.

□ President Oh Yong-jun stated in his commemorative speech, "The 99th anniversary of Hanbat National University is not just a record of time, but a history of challenge and innovation that has participated in the development of the nation and local community by always creating new paths amidst changes of times."

 ○ He also added, "In an era of great civilizational transition, such as the development of artificial intelligence and advanced technology, the university must also become a space that prepares for the future and opens up new possibilities, and Hanbat National University will continue to move forward as a university that fosters talents who will lead the future society based on the values of practicality, creativity, and convergence, and creates new opportunities for growth amidst change."

 ○ Lastly, he added, "Hanbat National University has strived for new challenges without being complacent with reality for the past 99 years, and I am confident that this DNA of Hanbat people will vigorously open the new upcoming 100 years."
