□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) announced that it held the Digital Library opening ceremony on the 19th and will enter full-scale operation starting from the 21st.

 ○ The newly completed Digital Library was built with a total project cost of 17.5 billion won approved by the Ministry of Education in 2021, featuring a total floor area of 6025 square meters with one underground floor and four ground floors.

 ○ Reflecting the diverse learning needs and usage patterns of university members, it was established as a complex cultural space that combines reading, learning, culture, and relaxation functions.

 ○ The 1st floor Haeol Lounge consists of a user education room, education support room, and group study rooms to provide library usage guidance and basic services, and the 2nd floor Daol Lounge is operated as an open cultural space where reading, exhibition, and small-scale cultural programs are possible.

 ○ The 3rd floor Ieum Lounge is a learning space where media and reading functions are combined, providing various types of learning environments such as a rectangular bar table, and the 4th floor Chaeum Lounge was created as an immersive learning space where both individual and group learning are possible.

□ Hanbat National University President Oh Yong-jun stated, "I hope the newly opened Digital Library will transcend a simple learning space and become an open complex space where users including students can freely stay and continue communication and creative experiences." He added, "I hope that students' new thoughts and dreams will grow further in this space.“

 ○ Library Director Kim Se-hwan announced, "The Digital Library is a space designed reflecting the diverse learning behaviors of users, focusing on providing a learning environment based on openness and flexibility." He added, "We will continue to operate it as a learning hub space that continuously develops in line with the changing educational environment."
