- Delivering 20 million won fund for fostering mechanical equipment professional talents supporting the Department of Building Systems Engineering
□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) announced that it received 20 million won in support fund for vitalizing the fostering of mechanical equipment professional talents from the Korea Mech. Const. Contractors Association on campus on the 16th.
○ On this day, Hanbat National University President Oh Yong-jun, Department of Building Systems Engineering professors Cho Jin-gyun, Park Byung-yong, Moon Joo-hyun, and other university officials, as well as Korea Mech. Const. Contractors Association President Heo Yong-joo, Daejeon·Sejong·Chungnam Branch President Lee Tae-wang, Executive Vice President Chu Moon-gap, and other association executives and staff attended the event.
○ Korea Mech. Const. Contractors Association President Heo Yong-joo said, "Recently, as the mechanical equipment industry has become increasingly important in solving national tasks such as realizing carbon neutrality, improving energy efficiency, and expanding smart construction, we ask universities to make more efforts to foster talents.“
□ Hanbat National University President Oh Yong-jun said, "Our university's Department of Building Systems Engineering is one of the few specialized departments in the country in the field of mechanical equipment, and is continuously producing talents who will lead related industries through excellent faculty and educational innovation efforts," adding, "We will uphold the purpose of your support and make further efforts to improve the department's educational environment and strengthen competitiveness.“
□ Meanwhile, the Korea Mech. Const. Contractors Association has been delivering support funds to universities across the country that have related departments since 2024 for the development of related industries and the fostering of outstanding talents, and plans to expand the scale this year to support a total of 200 million won to 9 universities nationwide.
