Currently, one of the requirements for the MS degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics is that a student completes 24 credit hours of courses at Hanbat National University. All courses are taught entirely or partly in English.
First-semester graduate courses provide a common base of mathematical knowledge and technical skills
Students then take more advanced courses which go deeper into particular areas in their second and third semesters. The candidate in the program must pass the general qualifying exams that are based on these courses.
In addition to basic and intermediate courses, we offer more advanced graduate courses in pure and applied mathematics depending on student’s mathematical interests. We also introduce students to areas in which our faculty are currently working.
