□ 우리 대학은 19일 교내 아트홀에서 ‘개교 95주년 기념식’을 개최하고 근속 교직원, 대학발전 기여자, 우수 부설연구소, 자랑스러운 한밭대인 등에게 포상하는 시간을 가졌다.
On May 19, Hanbat National University celebrated a '95th Anniversary Ceremony' at the campus art hall, where long-serving employees, University Development Contributors, exceptional R&D Center, and Proud Hanbat National University's people, among others, were honored.
○ 이날 기념식에는 강용식, 설동호 명예총장, 박범계, 조승래 국회의원, 채재학 총동문회사무총장, 박용우 최고경영자과정총동창회장 등 내·외빈 및 교직원과 학생, 동문 약 200명이 참석했으며, 실시간 온라인으로도 생중계했다.
The ceremony, which was attended by around 200 internal and external dignitaries, instructors, staff, students, and alumni, including Honorary Generals Seol Dong-ho and Kang Yong-sik, Members of the National Assembly Park Beom-gye and Cho Seung-rae, Secretary-General of the General Alumni Association Chae Jae-hak, and CEO Park Yong-woo, AMP Alumni President, was live streamed in real time.
○ 우리 대학은 개교 95주년을 기념해 중국어과 김혜경 교수 등 근속(10년․20년․30년) 교직원 33명과 비전세미콘(주) 윤통섭 대표 등 대학발전 기여자 4명, 우수 부설연구소 9개소, 모교를 빛낸 학생 및 동문인 ‘자랑스러운 한밭대인’ 5명에게 시상하고 격려했다.
In honor of Hanbat National University's 95th anniversary, 33 university employees with 10, 20, and 30 years of long service, including Professor Kim Hye-kyung of the Chinese Language Department, 4 contributors to the university's development, as well as CEO of Vision Semicon- Yoon Tong-seop, 9 outstanding R&D Centers, collegers who shine in their alma mater, and 5 Proud Hanbat People' alumni were recognized and encouraged.
□ 최병욱 총장은 기념사에서 “코로나 팬데믹은 대학에게도 참 힘든 시간이었지만 4차 산업혁명 시대의 첨단 기술은 코로나 위기 극복에 중요한 도구들을 제공했고, 인공지능, AR, VR, 메타버스 등은 새로운 미래교육을 가능하게 했다”라며, “이러한 첨단기술을 이용한 교육혁신에 더욱 매진해야 한다”고 말했다.
President Choi Byung-wook stated in his remembrance speech, "The COVID-19 pandemic is considered an exceedingly tough time for universities, but in the other hand, technology was improved in the 'Fourth Industrial Revolution'. It supplied crucial tools for overcoming the COVID pandemic crisis, as well as artificial intelligence, AR, VR, and the meta verse, among other technologies". He also said, "We need to place a larger emphasis on educational innovation using contemporary technology".
○ 또한, “대학을 둘러싼 가장 큰 위기요인인 학령인구 감소에 대응하고 이를 극복하기 위해 교육혁신과 더불어 연구혁신, 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 다양한 노력을 기울여야 하며, 이를 통해 산학협력 특성화 대학의 정체성을 보다 견고히 하고 미래가치를 창출하는 성과로 이어가 100주년을 넘어 영원히 지속가능한 대학이 될 수 있도록 한밭가족이 함께 고민하고 힘을 모으자”고 강조했다.
Furthermore, He said, "To tackle and vanquish the decline in the school-age population, which is already the most significant risk factor around universities, various efforts are required to build up research reformation and global competitiveness, as well as educational innovation, through which the Hanbat family should come together to reflect on and contribute to making the university a sustainable university after its 100th anniversary by further consolidating the university."
