□ 우리 대학 교수학습센터는 31일 교내 국제교류관에서 교수 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘MZ세대 학생의 특성 이해 및 소통’을 주제로 교수법 세미나를 개최했다.
On May 31, The Hanbat National University Center for Teaching and Learning hosted a teaching method seminar at the International Affairs Center on the topic of "Understanding and Communicating the Characteristics of MZ Generation Students," which was attended by 70 professors.
○ 이번 세미나에서는 위즈너컨설팅 고연경 대표가 MZ세대 특성 및 트렌드에 대해 구체적인 사례를 중심으로 소개하며, MZ세대 학습자 이해를 통해 효과적으로 수업을 운영하는 노하우를 공개했다.
Wisner Consulting CEO Koh Yeon-kyung, in this seminar, presented particular instances of the MZ generation's features and tendencies, as well as the knowledge of effectively conducting classes by understanding the MZ generation's learners.
○ 또한, MZ세대 티칭법 등을 다뤘으며, MZ세대 학습자와의 신뢰관계 형성을 위한 교수법은 참여 교수들의 많은 공감을 얻었다.
Moreover, the MZ generation teaching technique was presided over, and the teaching approach of creating a trusting relationship with the MZ generation learners was praised by the participating professors.
□ 건축학과 김호영 교수는 “코로나19로 인해 학생들과 소통이 단절되고 공감대를 찾기 어려웠는데 오늘 강의를 통해 어느 정도 그 해결책을 찾은 것 같다”며, “MZ세대 학생들의 환경적 특성을 이해하고 학생들에게 진심으로 다가간다면 학생들 역시 마음의 문을 열고 소통할 수 있을 것이다”라고 말했다.
According to Department of Architecture Professor Kim Ho-Young, he said, "Communication with students was disrupted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was challenging to reestablish consensus, but I suppose I have found a partial solution through today's lecture. If we comprehend the MZ generation's environmental features and approach them with sincerity, they will undoubtedly open their hearts wide open and be able to relate with one another".
□ 진성희 교수학습센터장은 “교육환경의 변화로 학생과의 소통과 공감의 시간이 그 어느 때보다 중요한 것 같다”며, “이에 대응해 교수법의 변화도 함께 이뤄질 수 있도록 다양한 교육 프로그램을 제공할 예정이다”고 밝혔다.
The head of the Center for Teaching and Learning, Jin Seong-hee, said, "With the shifting educational landscape, it appears that spending time communicating and empathizing with students is more crucial than ever. In keeping with this, we intend to offer a variety of educational programs in order to accommodate changes in teaching method".
