□ 우리 대학 제9대 총장으로 신소재공학과 오용준 교수가 11일(금) 임명 돼 이날부터 임기를 시작했다.
□ On November 1 (Friday), Professor Oh Yong-jun of the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering was appointed as Hanbat National University's ninth president. His term officially started on that day.
□ 오용준 신임 총장은 연세대학교 금속공학과를 졸업하고, 한국과학기술원(KAIST) 재료공학과 석·박사 학위를 받았다.
□ The new president Oh Yong-jun graduated from Yonsei University's Department of Metallurgical Engineering and furthermore holds master's and doctoral degrees from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Materials Science & Engineering.
○ 이후 한국원자력연구원 선임연구원 등을 거쳐 2002년 한밭대 교수로 임용돼 공과대학 신소재공학과에 재직하고 있으며,
○ He was appointed as a professor at Hanbat National University in 2002 after serving as a senior researcher at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute and is actually employed in the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering.
○ 국제교류원장, 기획처장, 대학혁신단장, 지역혁신플랫폼(RIS) 사업본부장 등의 보직을 역임했다.
○ He formerly served as the director of the Offices of International Affairs, Planning, University Innovation, and the Regional Innovation System (RIS).
□ 오 총장은 주요 보직 활동을 통해 2019년 한밭대학교의 최초 교육국제화역량인증 획득, 2021년 3주기 대학기본역량진단평가 자율혁신대학 및 대학혁신지원사업 최우수등급 선정 등에 기여하며 대학발전을 위해 앞장서 왔다.
□ Through essential position efforts, President Oh achieved Hanbat National University's first certification in Educational Internationalization Competency in 2019. He also took the lead in university development by permitting to determine the highest grade in the 2021 3rd Cycle University Basic Competency Assessment, Autonomous Innovation University, and University Innovation Support Project.
□ 오용준 총장의 임기는 2022년 11월 11일부터 2026년 11월 10일까지 4년이며, 취임식은 오는 22일(화) 오후 2시 한밭대 아트홀에서 열릴 예정이다.
□ President Oh Yong-term jun's will last four years, from November 11, 2022 to November 10, 2026, and the inauguration ceremony will take place on November 22 (Tuesday) at 2:00 pm at Hanbat National University's Art Hall.
