Peer counselors assist existing students who require psychological assistance in getting to the student counseling center and offer them information and emotional support to help them adjust to school.○ 또래상담자로 활동하는 학생들은 활동실적에 따라 소정의 장학금과 우리 대학 졸업이수요건 중 하나인 비교과 활동 유닛을 부여받게 된다.Peer counselors get a minor scholarship depending on their performance and nonsubject activities unit, which is one of the prerequisites for Hanbat National University graduation condition.□ 이번 10기 또래상담자 대표로 선정된 신소재공학과 한주연 학생은지난해 또래상담자로 활동하며 성장하는 친구의 모습을 통해 뿌듯함을 느낄 수 있었으며, 연이어 활동하는 만큼 더 많은 친구들에게 도움이 될 수 있는 또래상담자가 되겠다고 포부를 밝혔다.Han Ju-yeon, a Materials Science and Engineering Department student who was chosen to represent the 10th Peer Counselors, stated, During my time as a peer counselor last year, I was able to see the growth of my friends, which gave me pride.   • □ 우리 대학 대학일자리본부는 지난 24일, 2학기 개강에 앞서 교수들의 진로지도 역량강화를 위한 온라인 세미나를 개최했다고 밝혔다.○ 우리 대학 대학일자리본부가 실시한 학생수요조사에 따르면 대학생들의 가장 큰 고민으로 졸업 후 진로를 많이 꼽고 있고, 취업에 대한 막연한 걱정과 직무관련 경험 부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다.○ 또한, 한국고용정보원의 청년정책 체감도 및 만족도 조사에서는 전공 관련 진출분야 정보 제공 및 상담에 대해서 학과 교수의 도움을 가장 많이 희망하는 것으로 나타나 교수의 진로지도 역할이 중요해지는 시점이다.○ 이에 우리 대학은 진로교육 솔루션 운영사 ㈜트루밸류 정주영 대표를 초청해 진로교육의 현실, 주체가 빠진 진로교육이 부딪히는 문제, 당사자를 수동적이게 하는 진로교육 VS 능동적으로 만드는 진로교육 등의 주제로 온라인 강연을 제공했다.○ 이날 세미나에서는 78명의 교수가 참여했으며, 건설환경공학과 교수는 학생과의 공감대 형성, 작은 것 칭찬하기 등의 팁을 얻을 수 있어서 좋았고 이러한 소통이 진로지도의 시작점임을 깨닫게 되었다라고 교육 후기를 전했다.○ 우리 대학 대학일자리본부 박정호 본부장은 학생들이 진로문제를 적극적으로 해결하고 취업역량을 높이는 과정에서 교수가 종합적이고 체계적인 진로지도를 제공하도록 하는 토대를 지속적으로 마련해 나갈 계획이다라고 말했다.

  • □ 우리 대학은 22일 소프트웨어(SW)중심대학사업단 주관으로 SW교과과정 혁신을 논의하는 2023학년도 제1차 교과과정혁신위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.○ 본 위원회는 2022년부터 운영하고 있으며, 산업현장에서 요구되는 4차 산업혁명 핵심기술 및 디지털 융복합 신기술 능력을 갖춘 디지털 인재를 양성하기 위한 교과과정 혁신 방안에 대해 논의하고, 기업 주도의 기업설계전공 같은 SW중심대학사업 비교과과정에 산업현장의 수요가 반영되도록 노력을 기울이고 있다.○ 이날 회의에는 내부위원으로 우리 대학 컴퓨터공학과, 인공지능소프트웨어학과, 모바일융합공학과, 지능미디어공학과 전공교수진과 소프트웨어중심대학사업단 산학협력중점교수가 참석했으며,○ 외부위원으로는 한국원자력연구원 유용균 실장과 ㈜비주얼라이트 정성근 대표, ㈜루센트블록 진준호 CTO, 한국전자통신연구원 AI아카데미 한동원 실장, ㈜유클리드소프트 박주한 대표가 참석했다.○ 위원들은 △기업의 인력 채용을 위한 기업주도의 기업설계전공과정 추진 취지 △오는 25일까지 기업설계전공으로 운영하는 웹앱 개발자 과정 사례 소개 △산업체 요구에 따른 교수방법 및 교육과정과 교과목 개발 제안 등을 주요 내용으로 효과적이면서 성공적인 협력방안에 대해 다양한 의견을 교환했다.□ 우리 대학 SW중심대학사업단장 황경호 교수는 교과과정혁신위원회는 우리 대학의 SW교육을 현장 친화형 교육으로 개선하기 위한 자문역할을 수행하며, 이번 위원회에서는 특별히 기업 중심의 SW교육 활성화를 위한 의견을 많이 나눴고 이를 바탕으로 추후 교육과정에 반영할 예정이다라고 말했다.

  • □ 우리 대학은 모바일융합공학과 주관으로 지난 12일과 13일, 19일과 20일 2차례로 나누어 교내에서 제5회 청소년 IT캠프'를 성공적으로 운영했다고 밝혔다.On the 12th and 13th and on the 19th and 20th, the Department of Mobile Convergence Engineering successfully conducted the "5th Youth IT Camp" on the Hanbat National University campus.○ 이번 캠프는 국립대학육성사업의 지원을 받아 체험형 창의학습 기반 지역특화 인재를 양성하고자 마련됐으며, IT기술에 관심이 있는 지역 초등학생 총 68명이 참여했다.With support from the Korea National University Development Project, this camp was designed to nurture regionally specialized talent via experiencing creative learning, and 68 local primary school students interested in IT technology participated.○ 프로그램은 전문 강사진과 대학생 멘토의 교육과 도움을 통해 1~3학년의 경우 블록코딩을 이용하여 게임, 번역기 등을 만드는 과정을, 4~6학년의 경우 아두이노를 활용하여 LCD창에 날씨 및 시간 정보 등이 표시되는 스마트 연필꽂이를 제작하는 체험활동을 했다.Through training and help from professional instructors and college student mentors of the program, 1st to 3rd grade students discovered how to code games, translators, etc. using block coding, and 4th to 6th grade students did experiment in producing smart pencil holder that displays weather and time information on an LCD window using Arduino.○ 우리 대학 IT캠프는 단순 경진대회 행사가 아닌 체험형 IT교육으로 참여 학생별 수준을 고려한 강사와 멘토의 보조지도를 통해 맞춤형 교육을 실시하고 높은 집중도로 교육효과가 좋다.The IT Camp at Hanbat National University offers an opportunity for hands-on IT education rather than just a contest.   • □ 우리 대학은 21일 대전 호텔오노마에서 우리나라 고등교육의 미래와 담대한 혁신에 대한 제1회 글로벌 교육혁신 국제심포지엄' 행사를 개최했다.On the 21st, Hanbat National University held the "1st Global Educational Innovation International Symposium" on the future and daring innovation of Korea's higher education at Daejeon's Hotel Onoma.○ 이번 행사에는 미국 올린공과대학교의 Gilda A. Barabino 총장 및 일본 간사이국제대학교의 HAMANA Atsushi 총장 등 해외 대학 관계자와 이장우 대전광역시장, 장제국 한국대학교육협의회 회장, 윤승조 한국교통대학교 총장, 김용하 건양대학교 총장 등 국내 산학연 관계자 약 100여 명이 참석했다.A hundred or so representatives of industry, academia, and research institutes were present. Overseas university officials, including President Gilda A. Barabino of Olin College of Engineering in the United States and President HAMANA Atsushi of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan, as well as domestic officials, including Daejeon Metropolitan City Mayor Lee Jang-woo, Korean Council for University Education Chairman Jang Je-guk, Korea National University of Transportation President Yoon Seung-jo, and Konyang University President Kim Yong-Ha, attended this event.○ 행사는 Disruptive Innovation in Higher Education Institutions: Student-centered Education을 주제로 기조 강연, 대학 교육혁신에 대한 강의 및 사례 발표, 산학연계를 통한 대학 혁신에 대한 발표 및 토론 순서로 진행됐다.Under the theme "Disruptive Innovation in Higher Education Institutions: Student-centered Education," the event featured a keynote speech, a lecture and case presentation on innovations in higher education, and a presentation and discussion on university innovation through industry-academic links.□ 미국 올린공과대 Gilda A. Barabino 총장은 올린공과대의 과감한 교육개혁과 융합을 통한 대학혁신 사례를 공유했고, 또 이러한 교육혁신, 대학혁신 노력이 인류를 위해 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있도록 고민하고 있다는 메시지도 전했다.President Gilda A. Barabino of the Olin College of Engineering in the United States shared instances of the college's innovative university practices and daring educational reforms through convergence while emphasizing that the college is considering about how these initiatives could benefit humanity.○ 다음으로 일본 간사이국제대학교 HAMANA Atsushi 총장과 우리 대학 윤린 교육혁신본부장의 기조강연이 이어졌으며,Afterwards, HAMANA Atsushi, President of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan, and Yun Rin, Director of the Office of Education Innovation at Hanbat National University, delivered keynote speeches.○ 오후에는 국내외 교수와 연구원이 △미국 교육기관의 프로젝트 기반 학습 △4차 산업혁명 시대의 학생 중심 교육: 메타버스 교육과 학습에 필요한 확장 현실 기술 △한국 교육체계에서의 미네르바 실험 △야마나시현립대학 교육과정의 구조적 혁신 △산학협력 정책의 현황과 진화 △대학 산학협력 전략과 과제 등 대학 교육혁신 및 산학협력의 이론과 사례에 대해 발표를 진행했다.The afternoon sessions feature presentations by international anddomestic professors and researchers on theories and examples of university education innovation and industry-academia collaboration, including "Project-based learning at American educational institutions," "Education focused on students in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution: Extended Reality Technology Required for xss-metaverse Education and Learning," "Minerva experiment in the Korean education system," "Structural innovation in the curriculum of University of Yamanashi, "Current status and evolution of industry-academia cooperation policies," and "Industry-University collaboration strategies and tasks.".○ 마지막 순서로는 우리 대학 오용준 총장과 미국 올린공과대 Gilda A. Barabino 총장, 일본 간사이국제대학교 HAMANA Atsushi 총장 간 대학의 교육혁신을 주제로 토론하는 자리도 가졌다.Eventually, President Oh Yong-jun of Hanbat National University, President Gilda A. Barabino of Olin College of Engineering in the United States, and President HAMANA Atsushi of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan had a conference on educational innovation in universities.□ 우리 대학 오용준 총장은 미국 올린공과대 Gilda A. Barabino 총장님 및 일본 간사이국제대 HAMANA Atsushi 총장님, 그리고 국내외에서 금일 심포지엄에 참여해 주신 여러 관계자분들께 감사드린다며, 금일 글로벌 교육 혁신에 대한 여러 가지 제언을 바탕으로 한밭대학교가 우리나라 고등교육의 혁신을 선도할 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다고 말했다.President Oh Yong-jun of Hanbat National University said, I would like to thank President Gilda A. Barabino of Olin College of Engineering in the United States, President HAMANA Atsushi of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan, and and different participants from both home and abroad who took part in today's symposium. We shall strive even harder to support Hanbat National University as it leads the innovation of higher education in our country in light of today's numerous ideas for global innovation in education.".□ 한편, 8월 22일에는 우리 대학에서 미국 올린공과대 Gilda A. Barabino 총장과 우리 대학 오용준 총장의 대학 혁신 방안에 대한 공동 인터뷰를 진행하며, 이후에는 지난 3월 개관한 우리 대학 창의혁신관을 둘러본 후 향후 올린공과대와 우리 대학의 협력방안을 주요 보직교수들과 함께 논의하는 시간을 갖는다.On the other hand, on August 22, Hanbat National University will have a joint interview with President Gilda A. Barabino of Olin College of Engineering in the United States and President Oh Yong-jun of Hanbat National University about university innovation goals. After that, they will tour the recently opened Creative Innovation Center and speak with faculty members about potential partnership possibilities between Olin College and Hanbat National University.

  • □ 우리 대학은 18일 10시 교내 아트홀에서 2022학년도 후기 학위수여식을 개최하고, 정들었던 교정을 떠나 새로운 사회활동을 시작하는 졸업생들을 응원했다.On the 18th at 10 A.M., Hanbat National University held the "2022 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony" at the campus art hall to support the graduates as they departed their beloved university and began on new social activities.○ 이날 행사에는 우리 대학 오용준 총장과 대전시교육청 설동호 교육감, 강용식, 염홍철, 이원묵 명예총장, 송명기 총동문회장 등이 참석했으며, 학사보고, 졸업식사 및 축사, 표창, 학위수여 순으로 진행됐다.President of Hanbat National University Oh Yong-joon, Superintendent of the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education Seol Dong-ho, Honorary President Kang Yong-sik, Yeom Hong-cheol, Lee Won-mook, and Alumni Association President Song Myeong-gi all attended the ceremony.○ 이번 후기 학위수여자는 학사 275명, 석사 53명, 박사 9명 등 총 337명이며, 신소재공학과 김유석 학생 등 6명이 학업우수상, 영어영문학과 김승연 학생이 공로상 등을 수상했다.275 bachelor's degrees, 53 master's degrees, and 9 doctorate degrees were awarded to 337 students overall this year. Six students, including Kim Yu-seok of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, earned the Academic Excellence Award, Kim Seung-yeon of the Department of English Language and Literature got the Achievement Award.□ 우리 대학 오용준 총장은 졸업식사를 통해 사회의 변화가 빨라지면서 앞으로 하나의 직장, 하나의 직업 이상을 경험하게 될 가능성이 크고 이러한 경험은 자신을 한 단계 더 성장시키는 과정이 될 것이다며, 타인과 더 많이 소통하고 자신을 객관적으로 보도록 노력하며, 열린 마음으로 이웃을 대하고, 그 이웃과 함께 성공한다는 자세를 가져달라고 당부했다.In his graduation speech, Hanbat National University President Oh Yong-jun said, As societal changes speed, there is a good chance that you will have more than one work in the future, and that this experience will be a part of your growth to the next level. Connect with people more, try to see yourself from a different perspective, be open-minded when treating with your neighbors, and adopt a mindset that will help you and them succeed together..○ 또한, 사회에 나가서도 한밭대인들이 꼭 갖추었으면 하는 사람과 사람, 기술과 기술 간에 연결을 잘하는 융합력, 변화를 두려워하지 않고 포용할 줄 아는 적응력, 새로운 도전을 하는 개척자 정신, 이 세 가지를 계속 추구해 달라고 강조했다.In addition, he said, I urge Hanbat people to continue pursuing these three qualities even after they enter the real world: the ability to connect effectively with people and technology, flexibility to accept change fearlessly, and pioneer spirit to take on new challenges.".
