  • □ 국립 한밭대학교는 지난 10일 발표된 세계 혁신대학 2021 WURI 랭킹에서 Global Top 100 혁신대학에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.○ 세계 혁신대학 WURI(Worlds Universities with Real Impact) 랭킹은 미래에 필요한 인재를 육성해 달라는 기업과 사회의 요구에 부응하기 위해 기존의 연구중심 평가에서 벗어나 혁신에 방점을 두고 세계 대학들을 평가하는 새로운 세계 대학 랭킹시스템이다.○ UNITAR(UN Institute for Training and Research), 스위스 프랭클린대학 테일러연구소, 한자대학동맹(Hanseatic League of Universities, HLU), 한국의 국제경쟁력연구원 등 4개 기관이 공동으로 주관하며, 2020년에 처음 시작됐다.□ 올해 평가는 산업적용(Industrial Application), 기업가정신(Entrepreneurial Spirit), 윤리가치(Ethical Value), 학생의 이동성과 개방성(Student Mobility and Openness), 위기관리(Crisis Management) 등 5개 부문에서 각 대학별 혁신사례에 대해 이뤄졌으며, 각 부문별 50위권 대학 순위와 Global Top 100에 해당하는 대학명단이 발표됐다.○ 한밭대는 Global Top 100 혁신대학 순위에서는 90위에 올랐으며, 각 부문별로는 윤리가치 부문 35위, 산업적용 부문 35위, 기업가정신 부문 43위를 차지했다.○ 윤리가치 부문에서는 졸업요건으로 일정 수준의 비교과프로그램 이수를 의무화 한 「C+U200 졸업이수제도」, 산업적용 부문에서는 「산업체 맞춤형 교육과정(계약학과) 운영」과 「국내 유일의 글로벌 전문 용접 및 비파괴 검사 분야 기술인력 양성과정(용접공학센터)」, 기업가정신 부문에서는 「창업교육-창업보육-실제창업 연계 생태계 및 교수창업 사례」, 「INC(Idea, Needs, Capability) 기반의 기업가정신 함양」을 혁신사례로 제시해 우수성을 인정받았다.□ 최병욱 총장은 이번 Global Top 100 혁신대학 선정에 대해 WURI 랭킹은 평가에 참여한 모든 대학의 총장이 상호평가를 하는 방식으로 이뤄진다며, 한밭대가 산학협력과 교육을 통해 기업과 사회의 요구에 부응하는 방향으로 대학의 혁신을 지속해 왔던 그간의 노력들이 전 세계의 다른 대학들로부터도 인정을 받은 것이라고 의미를 부여했다.○ 이어 우리 대학은 2027년 개교 100주년을 앞두고 있다. 새로운 교육 시스템과 INC 기반의 산학협력으로 우리 대학만의 강점을 강화해 지역과 함께 개방-공유-협력의 정신으로 혁신을 선도할 수 있는 대학으로 발전하고 미래가치를 창출하는 글로컬 산학일체 혁신대학의 비전을 달성하겠다고 강조했다.Hanbat National University (President Byeong-wook Choi) announced on the 10th that the university placed among the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities of the 2021 WURI Ranking.WURI(Worlds Universities with Real Impact) is a new world of universities ranking system that evaluates worldwide universities with an emphasis on innovation instead ofthe existing research-oriented evaluation in order to meet the demands among entrepreneurs in contemporary society to cultivate talents necessary for the future.UNITAR(UN Institute for Training and Research), The Taylor Institute of Franklin University in Switzerland, HLU (Hanseatic League of Universities), Korea Institute for International Economic Policy etc..., four global institutions publicly operated and firstreleased in 2020.This year's evaluation is based on innovation by each university in five criteria: Entrepreneurial Spirit, Ethical Value, Student Mobility and Openness, Crisis Management etc. The rankings of the top 50 universities in each areas and the list of universities corresponding to the 'Global Top 100' were announced.Hanbat National University achieved the 90th place in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities ranking and in the each area, the university ranked 35th in Ethical Value, 35th in Industrial Application, 43th in Entrepreneurial Spirit.In the criteria of Ethical Value , the C+U200 Graduation Completion System, which mandated completion of a certain level of non-examination program as a graduation requirement, and Offering industry-tailored training courses (agreement departments) in the criteria of Industrial Applicationand the only global specialized welding and non-destructive test in South Korea Technical Manpower Training Strategies in the inspection field (Welding Engineering Center), and in the criteria entrepreneurship, Startup education-entrepreneurship teaching-actual start-up ecosystem and professor entrepreneurship cases, and INC (Idea, Needs, Capability)-based entrepreneurship cultivation It was presented as an innovation case and its excellence was recognized.Regarding this year Global Top 100 Innovative University achievement, the president of Hanbat National Universiy Byeong-wook Choi said, "The WURI ranking is designed in a way that the all universities presidents can participate in evaluating a mutual evaluation. Hanbat Universitys efforts to continuously innovate in the direction of meeting the demands among entrepreneurs in contemporary society through industry-university cooperation and education have been recognized by other universities around the world.He also said: Our university is about to celebrate the 100th anniversary in 2027.   • □ 국립 한밭대학교 대학혁신단은 대학 정문에서 남문까지 이어지는 외부 녹지구간을 지역민과 함께하는 공공문화 휴게공간으로 꾸미는 한밭 컬쳐 스페이스 조성 아이디어 공모전을 진행한다고 15일 밝혔다.○ 이번 공모전은 해당 구간의 인근 상가 및 주택에서 발생하는 쓰레기 배출 문제를 함께 고민하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 의미 있는 아이디어를 발굴하고자 마련됐다.○ 지역 문제에 대해 관심 있는 지역민이라면 누구나 참여 가능하며, 한밭대 국립대학육성사업 홈페이지 공지사항에 있는 관련 양식을 내려받아 작성 후 오는 30일까지 이메일(lsh1223@hanbat.ac.kr)로 제출하면 된다.○ 제출된 아이디어는 공모전 선정위원회를 구성해 대학 인근 주민과 상인들의 의견수렴 결과를 반영하여 심사하고, 참가자 전원에게 기념품을 제공하며 수상자에게는 소정의 상품을 지급한다.○ 한밭대 대학혁신단 관계자는, 이번 공모전은 한밭대학교가 지역문제를 발굴하고 이를 해결하기 위한 아이디어를 마련해 실제 지역사회 환경개선에 기여하는 또 하나의 좋은 사례를 보여주게 될 것이다라며, 많은 관심과 참여를 요청했다.National Hanbat University (President Byeong-wook Choi)Innovation Team announced that on the 15th, they will hold a Hanbat Culture Space Creation Idea Contest to decorate the outdoor green section from the universitys main gate to the south gate as a cultural public resting space with local residents.This contest was prepared to discuss together the problem of wastes from nearby shopping malls and houses in the relevant section and to discover meaningful ideas for improvement.Any local citizen who is interested in local issues can participate.   • □ 산학협력단은 연구개발특구진흥재단(이사장 강병삼)이 주관하는 한국형 과학단지 교육사업의 2021년 운영기관으로 선정되었다고 지난 8일 밝혔다.○ 한국형 과학단지 교육사업은 많은 저개발 국가들과 개발도상국들의 지속적인 요청에 따라 2008년부터 시작한 지식공유사업으로, 대형 국가사업의 해외수출 시 현지국가에 제공되는 프로그램 중 하나이다.○ 우리나라의 대표적 과학기술단지(STP, Science and Technology Park)인 대덕연구개발특구의 개발, 조성 및 운영 내용을 중심으로 과학기술단지와 관련한 다양한 지식과 경험을 전수하며 14년째 운영 중이다.○ 본 사업은 현재까지 총 20회에 걸쳐, 전 세계 70개국 237개 기관의 관계자 387명이 참가․수료하였으며, 수료생 중에는 현지 국가의 장․차관, 테크노파크 원장 등의 고위직 관리도 다수 있다.○ 교육은 코로나19의 지속 상황으로 인해 기존의 초청교육 방식에서 국내 최고의 강사진을 통한 온라인 화상교육으로 전환해 추진할 계획이며, 교육생들을 시차에 따른 대륙별(아시아, 중동․아프리카, 남미)로 구분해 진행할 예정이다.○ 특히 교육을 통해 참가 교육생별 협력제안서를 작성하도록 하고, 구체적 협력 의제를 발굴하여 실질적 지원이 이루어지도록 추진한다.○ 최종인 산학협력부총장은 본 사업을 연구개발특구진흥재단이 추진하는 다른 해외진출사업과 연계하여 해외 참가 교육생 뿐만 아니라, 특구 내 기업들에게도 도움이 될 수 있도록 연구개발특구진흥재단과 긴밀히 협력해 나갈 것이다라고 말했다.○ 그리고, 다양한 국가의 환경과 시차, 요구조건 등을 고려해 과학기술 ODA 융합 프로그램 등의 전문성을 보유한 ㈜에이치이노베이션(권기환 대표)의 도움을 받아 고객만족도를 높여나가겠다고 덧붙였다.□ 한편, 한밭대는 올해 94주년을 맞이한 지역의 대표적 국립대학으로 과거 해외원조자금을 받아 다양한 과학기술센터 등을 운영했던 경험이 있으며, 글로컬 산학일체 혁신대학의 비전하에 고객이 필요로 하는 인재를 지속적으로 배출하고 있다.○ 또한, 연구개발특구진흥재단은 대덕특구 재창조, 새로운 50년을 설계하는 가운데 그동안 한국형 과학단지 교육사업을 통해서 카자흐스탄, 쿠웨이트, 에콰도르 등에 과학단지 설립 및 운영에 관한 현지 컨설팅을 제공했으며, 다수 기업들의 해외시장 진출을 성공적으로 지원하였다.

  • □ 국립 한밭대학교는 공업화학과(현 화학생명공학과) 동문들이 대학발전기금으로 약 1000만원을 기부했다고 27일 밝혔다.○ 행사에는 공업화학과 총동문회 김준현 초대 회장(90학번)과 동문들, 공업화학과 시절 재직했던 황교현 명예교수 등이 참석해 최병욱 총장에게 기금을 전달했다.○ 함께 방문한 박상도 동문(대한노인회 대전시연합회 부회장)은, 비록 학과는 개편됐지만 한밭대학교 동문이라는 사실은 변하지 않는다며, 모교 발전에 조금이나마 보탬이 되고 싶어 동문들과 상의해 기부를 결정했다고 소감을 밝혔다.○ 황교현 명예교수는 과거를 회상하며, 제자들이 사회에서 각자 중요한 역할을 해주고 있어 자랑스럽고, 앞으로도 학과와 모교발전에 관심을 가져달라고 말했다.□ 최병욱 총장은 감사를 표하며, 산업구조 변화 등 시대의 흐름에 대응하기 위한 교육 패러다임의 전환 등으로 학과는 개편되기도 하지만 대학의 역사 속에 그대로 살아있으며 그 전통 또한 이어져 오고 있다며, 4차 산업혁명 시대를 선도하는 인재양성에 더욱 힘쓰겠다고 했다.□ 한편, 공업화학과는 1980년 신설됐으며, 1988년 화학공학과로 변경, 1990년 공업화학과 재 신설, 2006년 응용화학생명공학부 등으로의 변경을 거쳐 2012년 일반대 전환과 함께 지금의 화학생명공학과로 개편되었다.

  • □ 공동훈련센터가 고용노동부와 한국산업인력공단이 주관한 2020년 일학습병행사업 연차평가에서 4년 연속 최우수 기관(S등급)으로 선정됐다고 18일 밝혔다.○ 공동훈련센터는 일학습병행 사업을 운영하는 전담조직으로, 기업에 재직 중인 근로자 또는 대전충청지역 특성화고 및 마이스터고 졸업예정자의 취업 연계 후 산업현장에서 요구하는 기업 맞춤형 인재로 양성하기 위해 기업과 학교 등에서 체계적인 교육훈련을 제공하고 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 지원한다.○ 한밭대는 이번 평가에서 전담자 전문성 확보, 기업학습근로자 목표 달성률, 장비활용률, 외부평가 응시율 등 주요 항목에서 높은 점수를 받았다.○ 공동훈련센터장 구본급 교수는 코로나19로 인해 기업 경영악화 및 고용불안 등으로 힘든 시기였지만 일학습병행 코로나19 특별조치를 활용한 전략적인 사업 운영을 통해 좋은 성과를 거둘 수 있었다며, 앞으로도 일학습병행 사업을 통해 미래가치를 창출하는 글로컬 산학일체 혁신대학이라는 대학 비전을 달성하기 위해 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.□ 한편, 공동훈련센터는 2015년 5월 설립 이래 약 200개 학습기업과 협약을 맺고 사업을 운영해 왔으며, 고용노동부로부터 매년 약 8.5억 원의 예산을 배정받아 중소기업에 지원하고, 지금까지 약 650여 명의 지역중소기업 근로자(학습근로자)를 대상으로 직무훈련을 수행하며 우수한 융합형 전문 인재양성을 위해 노력하고 있다.

  • □ 지난 17일 교내 아트홀에서 대학 역사와 인물 그리고 현재와 미래를 다룬 한밭대, 내일도 맑음을 부제로 한밭 토크쇼를 개최하고 온라인 실시간 중계했다.○ 이번 행사는 오는 20일 개교 94주년을 맞이하는 한밭대의 오랜 역사를 학생들에게 알리고 역대 총장과 자랑스러운 동문들을 소개하며 앞으로의 대학의 모습에 대해 대학 구성원들과 소통하고자 마련한 자리이다.○ 박희정 아나운서의 진행으로 약 1시간가량 이어진 토크쇼에는 최병욱 총장과 임경빈 교수회장, 터디자인연구소 김만수 동문 대표, 김정현 총학생회장이 출연했으며, 실시간 댓글 등도 소개하며 인터뷰 형식으로 진행됐다.○ 출연자들은 삼성동 캠퍼스 시절부터 대학에서 있었던 일화 등을 소개하며 과거를 회상했고, 덕명캠퍼스로의 이전과 일반대학 전환 등 대학이 현재에 이르기까지의 과정과 그 속에서의 대학 구성원들의 노력, 향후 세종캠퍼스로의 진출 등에 대한 이야기를 전했다.□ 최병욱 총장은 우리 대학이 개교 94주년을 맞이하는 동안 끊임없이 변화하고 지속적으로 성장할 수 있었던 것은 교직원과 학생들, 그리고 동문들의 헌신과 노력이 있어 가능했다며 우리 대학 고유의 특성화된 강점을 길러 다가오는 개교 100주년의 밝은 미래를 준비하자고 말했다.
